Defeat Summer Boredom

I'm back with a summer post!  Last month was National Anti-Boredom Month, and this post was supposed to go up last month, but I've been so busy!  So, here it is (finally).  ;)
1.  Go on a walk
One of the best ways to enjoy the outdoors is to go on a walk.  Enjoy the green grass and the birds.  I don't think I go on enough walks, because when winter comes I wish I had gone on more!
2.  Go swimming
The hot weather is perfect for days at the beach or an outdoor pool.  Swimming is just so fun and you don't even realize how much exercise you're getting!  The cold water feels awesome on a hot day.
3.  Read
Yes, you can read year round, but how about reading outside?  You can get some sunshine and listen to the birds without being all cooped up indoors!  And read a really good book at the same time.  ;)
4.  Organize your room
Around this time I usually go through all my stuff (mostly my desk) and reorganize and throw away things I don't need to keep.  You could even redecorate a little; even if it's just changing up a bulletin board.  Just to freshen things up.
5.  Have a summer party
Who doesn't love having get togethers?  Invite a bunch of your friends over for a picnic or campfire and play some games.  And, guess what?  This month is even National Picnic Month!
6.  Listen to music
Music is wonderful.  Get rid of that Christmas stuff and find some fresh new tunes!  Even better, listen to it outside.  While reading.  Or going on a walk.  ;)
7.  Try a new smoothie recipe
Smoothies are always sooo good! Especially the summery ones. You know, pinneaples, mangos, raspberries... delicious fruit that you usually don't get in winter. Put 'em together and you've got a delicious snack!
What are some of your favorite things to do in the summer?
See ya later guys!
