We all have stress in our lives. Sometimes it's okay to take a little break from whatever is stressing you out to go do something fun or relaxing. When I get stressed, it's usually because of school. Some weeks are heavier than others leading to lots of reading on the weekends, or there's that one assignment that you just can't figure out. When I get stressed out, sometimes I need to go take a 15 minute break to just do something I enjoy.
Sometimes, that fresh air is just what you need.
See that little (actually kinda big) kitty up there? That's Benson, my wonderful fluffy cat. He's usually not a snuggler, but he'll snuggle if he senses that I'm stressed for some reason. It's absolutely wonderful (and surprisingly comforting). ;)
Even if you can't get away from your stressful situation, breathing deeply can be quite calming.
Just get up and do a few jumping jacks. Or jump rope. Or do an actual workout. I guess this kinda works with going for a walk too. Just getting your body moving even for a minute or two can lower stress a bit.
I love hugs. Just saying. ;)
I love playing the piano, so playing a song or two is relaxing for me.
Did you know that adult coloring books are really in right now? YES. Finally! It's okay for adults to color too! :D
Drinking a hot drink also seems to calm you down. Make some tea or delicious lemon-honey water (boil some water and add a tablespoon each of lemon juice and honey - or to taste).
Praying is the best thing you could do. God will help you whenever you need help.. you just gotta ask, and then wait for Him to work. :) Hope some of these things help you to de-stress when you need to! Do you have anything that you would add to this list? Tell me about it in the comments below! See ya later guys! ♥BTitle photo taken by me via iPhone 5 Grouped under Lifestyle

Ok, I'm really pleasantly surprised at this insightful list :D Maybe I'm just lame, but I thought, everyone has their own ways of dealing with stress so maybe a post with that title wouldn't be that relevant. (just being super honest :D ) but YES and YES and YES. This is THE best list, and all of these things I've personally put to the test. This is the list everyone should at least try before saying there's no hope. :) Because honestly, without that last one and a relationship with God, none of us have long lasting hope! I should print this out and literally paste it to my forehead, haha.

Thank-you so much Kay! I completely agree that the last one is definitely the most important. You can't get through anything without God! :P I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
