I went on a Ladies Retreat at Camp Caroline from March 16-18 with some of my friends and it was amazing! For the next couple weeks I'm going to share with you my notes specifically from that weekend. The speaker for this weekend was Jolene Biegel and she was a super good speaker! Isaiah 61:1 The Hebrew word for broken-hearted translates to shattered. Luke 4:18 If this is His ministry, then it's mine too. Philippians 2:6-11 "You must have the same attitude that Jesus had...." John leaped in Elizabeth's womb. He was already prophesying! If something is filled, it takes possession of it. John 20:22 God breathes life into us. I refuse to manufacture what God says He'll give. Acts 2:2-4 The Holy Spirit filled the house! Acts 5:55 He wasn't seated, he was standing. Acts 5:18-20 Be filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is comfort. Fasting breaks off idolatry. Ephesians 3:18-19 Understand His love for us. Fullness of life. Leviticus 6:13 The fire on the alter of the burnt offering was a divine gift because it was originally lit by God. 2 Corinthians 6:16 We are walking temples. 1 Peter 1:2 Fire refines us. It sets us apart. Fire = Holy Spirit 2 Corinthians 1:22 He put the Holy Spirit in our hearts, guaranteeing everything He has promised us. Let my quiet times be taken over by You, Lord! He is our companion. We need to burn! Many people grieve the expression and manifestation of their sin. They fail to grieve the conception of sin in their hearts. Proverbs 4:23 "Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life." Matthew 12:34 "For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of." Nothing I do matters if my heart is far from Him. We need to think of the steps that led up to the sin. More Posts You Might Like
