Don't you wish that you could just jump out of bed in the morning all ready to go for the day? Well, this blog post won't give you magical powers or anything, but it might make doing your hair in the morning just a little bit easier. I love these waves because you can do them the night before and you barely have to do anything the next morning! They're great for days when you just don't want to spend lots of time on your hair. It's also a super easy one to do on yourself. So, lets get on with the tutorial! What You'll NeedWet Hair Brush Hair Elastic Step 1. Shower (or swim or something) in the evening before bed. This style works best with wet hair. Step 2. Brush any tangles out of your hair. Step 3. French braid on one side. I'm doing two braids because it creates more waves near the front of my head, but if you don't like that or don't have time for two, you can just do one down the back. Should I do a tutorial on how to French braid? I realize some of you may not know how. Comment down below if you'd like me to! Step 4. Braid part of the way down and tie off with an elastic. Step 5. Repeat step 3 on the other side. If you're only doing one braid, ignore this step. Step 6. Remove the elastic from the first braid and divide the two braids into three even sections. In this case, the right braid had less hair than the left one, so I just split the left in half. Step 7. Combine into one braid. If you just want to do two, you can definitely do that. I just hate sleeping with two braids. It's more comfortable for me with just one. :) Step 8. Braid as far down as you can, tie off with an elastic, and sleep on it! Step 9. The next morning, unravel the braid and reveal the beautiful waves. Step 10. Run your fingers through and shake it up a bit. This step is optional, but I like the slightly messy look it gives. It also separates the waves a little more. And there you have it - super simple Lazy Day Waves! What do ya think? I personally love these waves. For those of you who prefer to take a quick glance at a pictorial, here's one for you to pin! I hope you all enjoyed these DIY waves! If you try this out, I'd love it if you would post it on Instagram or send it to me with the hashtag #LaTiDoLazyWaves. That would be awesome! See ya later guys! ♥BAll photos taken by me via Canon Rebel XTi Grouped under DIY Related Posts
