Christmas is coming! This is one of my favorite times of the year! It's one of those holidays that seems to last a long time, since we decorate almost right after Halloween and then can enjoy it all the way 'till Christmas Day! (And even a little bit after). So today, I'm giving you some ideas on how to get into the Christmas spirit so that you can enjoy the season to its fullest! Listen to Christmas MusicObviously. I've been listening to Christmas music since mid October! :D I love it so much. Bake Christmas CookiesThere are so many different Christmas baking recipes to choose from! Baking Christmas cookies and pepperminty things always gets me into a Christmasy mood. Look at Christmas LightsGo on a walk around your neighbourhood and enjoy the Christmas lights and decorations! Build a Gingerbread HouseWe try to do this every year. It's always so fun to decorate a cute little gingerbread house. It smells so good - and you can steal a few candies while you're at it! Watch Christmas MoviesSome of my all-time favorites are The Nativity Story, Home Alone, The Santa Clause, The Polar Express, and The Christmas Shoes (although there are many others). Go Window ShoppingSometimes downtown will decorate too, so why not enjoy that while Christmas shopping or window shopping just for fun? Get cozyGrab a book or a movie and sit by the fire with a hot drink and fuzzy socks. So cozy! Hang Up StockingsI love using stockings as decor above the fireplace. And for a few small presents too. ;) Put Presents Under the TreeI like to have presents under the tree as early as possible. I love opening them on Christmas, but I also love how pretty they are when they're still wrapped! I love Christmas and I'll definately be doing these things this month. I hope you have a fun countdown to Christmas! ♥BTitle photo and all photos watermarked "Wolf Photography" taken by me via Canon Rebel XTi All photos watermarked "Gillian's Photos" taken by my sister via iPhone 5 Grouped under Lifestyle More Posts You Might Like
